Meals for Homeless (Canada, 2002–2006)
Feeding the Homeless Calgary, Alberta

2006
Mustard Seed volunteers have cooked and served over 2800 homeless people at the Mustard Seed, a center that feeds and houses homeless people in Calgary and also offers progressive programs to assist in breaking the cycle of homelessness and allow people to work toward their potential, despite their circumstances. Every year since 2002, Cathy Viccars organizes a roast beef dinner with the support of Cargill Foods who continues to donate the delicious beef and Phil’s Ice Cream who donates the ice cream. Thanks to all the students from that volunteered with Vlad Grigore, The Vos and Carruthers families and friends.

The Foundation has also completed four dinners at the Mustard Seed in 2003. Many thanks to the volunteers who help organize, cook and serve these dinners to the generous anonymous donor, Tusk Energy Inc. and the Calgary Foundation.
