The
Pink and Green Ribbon Health Program was founded by women who are not okay with the current statistics and predictions for breast cancer and want to do something about it.
The team consists of Monika Herwig ND (Naturopathic Doctor), Julie Budgen (Environmental Consultant) and Julia Lynx (Loving the Land Workshops and Events). They are the creators of the pink and green ribbon, which was designed to create awareness regarding the risk factors for breast cancer present in our environment. They have created a free five week Healthy Breast E-Mail Series to educate and empower women. The focus of the series is the sharing of information and specific tools that support a proactive approach to breast health.
Pink represents our commitment to creating breast-cancer free communities through promoting healthy breast education and focusing on prevention.
Green reflects our stand for addressing the connection between the environment and women’s health.
