The Outward Bound youth scholarships are a powerful way to invest in the future of a community by investing in every communities' most precious resource - its young people. Outward Bound starts with the belief that "there is more in you than you think". It helps young people find a positive sense of direction and purpose and to discover their own inner reserves of courage and tenacity that are required to turn a vision into reality.

The 2011 Aboriginal Youth Scholarship is currently assigned to the Nakoda community of Morley, located between Canmore and Calgary. Two youths were awarded this scholarship.
